In general, motorcycle helmets usually have three air ventilation system. Some people think that they may simply think that the air duct is only for ventilation. In fact, there are three functions of the air duct, namely: defogging, noise reduction, and ventilation.
Defogging: First of all, the air duct of the helmet has the function of defogging. Although the dehazing effect is not obvious, we also need to know how to use it. If you want to use the air duct for defogging, you need to open the front air duct, the upper air duct, and close the rear air duct. After the operation is completed, the rapidly rising airflow can effectively remove the fog on the lens.
Noise Cancellation: As the name suggests, it is to keep quiet. If you want to achieve the effect of noise reduction and silence, you can close all three air ducts, or only open the rear air duct. Some of the better helmets are very quiet inside the helmet with all air ducts closed.
Ventilation: If you want good ventilation inside the full face helmet, you need to open the front and rear air ducts and close the top air ducts. However, in this case, the inside of the helmet will be quite noisy.
